THE DISCOVERY CENTER CAMPFIRE

At each 5th and 6th grade residential session the students have a special campfire experience where they gather to share stories, sing, perform skits and learn the importance of respecting and valuing others from different racial, cultural and socio–economic backgrounds. The crackle of the wood and the warmth of the flames reinforces The Discovery Center's welcoming spirit of inclusiveness.

The infinite nighttime sky reminds the students to reach for the stars and dare to dream of a world where everyone is able to pursue their dreams. We invite you to join us around the campfire as a Campfire Partner and express your support for The Discovery Center's mission in a meaningful and reliable way.
